BIO

Ralph Timothy Keeshen

Keeshen’s work reaches from cost to coast, from his interest in land and spatial art. Educated at The Forman School in Licth field, CT., he concentrated on set design/ video production graduating with hornors.

His site specific installations were in the city parks/ public spaces. One exhibit stretched for a mile thought San Jose. Later awarded an undergraduate scholarship at San Jose State University, CA., he pursued wood working/ large-scale sculpting. His work was exhibited at Sheffield Hallam University in England, where he attended as an exchange scholar.

As a post-graduate Keehsen Live in New York exploring cityscapes & space though color and geometric forms working with acrylic on canvas. Tim has been with Mainely Frames and Gallery for the past ten years as head framer working with design and color. His access to the water has encouraged a new direction in his painting when he built a 14 ft sailboat he sails on Casco Bay.

Paintings are Liqutex acylic on gesso 12oz. canvas with the stretched sizes of 36"X24"(city scapes)and 24"x16"(waterscapes) varinshed with Soluvar
